Exploring Gaya Island’s Highest Point with The Sabah Society

We’re thrilled to share the success of the recent hike to the highest point of Pulau Gaya—an inspiring journey that brought together 77 passionate hikers. Sixty participants, including three dedicated medics, made it to the summit, conquering the steep terrain together.

Our team was honoured to support this meaningful event by assisting with planning and participant coordination, helping to ensure a smooth and safe experience for all involved.

More than just a physical challenge, this hike was a celebration of Sabah’s natural beauty and a reflection of The Sabah Society’s mission: “To Know Sabah.”

Not many people are even aware of the hiking trails on Pulau Gaya—making this initiative all the more special. As only the second hike organised by The Sabah Society in this area, it continues to uncover and showcase some of Sabah’s lesser-known natural wonders.

With every step, we grow—as individuals, as a community, and as part of our continued commitment to CSR and meaningful local engagement. This initiative reflects our company’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, as we actively support programmes that promote environmental conservation, community engagement, and the celebration of Sabah’s natural heritage.
