When the 20th Congress of the Asia Pacific Federation of Coloproctology convened in Kota Kinabalu, it marked more than just a scientific gathering. For three days, the Sabah International Convention Centre became the meeting point for over 800 specialists and 50 distinguished speakers from across the globe. The congress theme, “Sustainable Surgery: Embracing Innovation, Empowering Teams,” set the stage for meaningful dialogue and forward-looking collaboration.

Behind the success of this international event was a story of planning, precision, and teamwork. Our role was to ensure that every detail, from delegate arrivals and registration to plenary sessions and social programs, unfolded seamlessly. From the moment participants entered the venue, their journey was carefully orchestrated. Registration counters were streamlined to minimise waiting time, ushers guided guests with confidence, and parallel sessions transitioned effortlessly, allowing the program to run with clockwork efficiency.

On stage, our team worked closely with all event crews, moderators, speakers, and technical crews to deliver flawless execution. Keynote addresses began on time, ceremonial moments carried the right sense of occasion, and every transition was managed with quiet assurance. Beyond the convention halls, we coordinated hotel transfers and logistics, ensuring delegates experienced not only the efficiency of a world-class congress but also the warmth of Sabah’s hospitality.

The result was a congress that achieved its mission and left a lasting impression on every participant. By combining professional rigor with a spirit of welcome, we helped transform APFCP 2025 into more than a scientific meeting. It became an experience that reflected the strength of the medical community and the vibrancy of its host city.
